The What:

Carlo Guzzi, Giorgio Parodi, Giovanni Ravelli. The story of an encounter, of a friendship, of an eternal bond. An idea that becomes a project. A shared success. An all-Italian journey to discover values such as courage and spirit of adventure, shared visions, creative, enlightened and supportive entrepreneurship.

This is precisely the power of the message that the documentary film The Courage to Go Beyond (IL CORAGGIO DI ANDARE OLTRE) seeks to convey: an adventure full of emotions and details that perhaps not everyone is aware of, through valuable testimonies from the protagonists of the brand's genesis.
From the grandchildren of the founders to the children of former employees of the Larian company, from journalists from the world of motorcycling and historians of the brand to those who took the Guzzi name to the top of the podium, right up to the purists of the Mandello eagle: together, the architects and participants of that dream, a synthesis of passion, attraction to speed, mechanical genius, and foresight, which has become accessible to all, a shared reality on the roads of the world.

IL CORAGGIO DI ANDARE OLTRE was among the finalists at the MotorCycle Film Festival, held at the Casa del Cinema in Rome on October 8 & 9, 2024, winning the 1st “People's Jury” Award and receiving a “Special Mention for artistic value and careful journalistic documentation.”

It was made in 2020, in the midst of restrictions and difficulties related to the Covid-19 pandemic and lockdown.

The hope is that the story of resourcefulness and courage told in the film will be a stimulus for a new beginning.

The documentary is not intended for commercial or advertising purposes.
All the protagonists and participants have generously given up their time and expertise free of charge.
