2024 Great Anzac Ride

Four riders assembled at Montrose BP at 8:30 for 9:00 am departure!

They rode to Yea where they met fellow riders and stopped for coffee and met fellow riders. In all, 19 riders enjoyed the weekend away.

They travelled via Mansfield, Whitfield, Milawa, Myrtleford,  Happy Valley, Tallangatta, Granya Gap, Corryong  – estimated 510km’s, to arrive around 5:00 p.m. A group dinner was held at the Corryong Hotel Motel Function Room.

Comments from the Riders: 

Graeme followed Gazza and a few others up to Corryong on Thursday and had to return home on Friday , perfect weather and Autum colours everywhere, a lazy 1,300 km in two days covered, the CX didn’t miss a beat.

Big shout out to Garry Elphinstone for getting everyone up to Corryong and back in one piece. Great to be home and looking for an early night.

Great weekend thanks to everyone and especially Garry and Nod for being our tour guides.

I’m tired, 1,882 km all up. Some absolutely awesome views, great roads and weather. The ride up to Cabramurra was a hoot and was the ride from Mitta Mitta to Anglers Rest.

We covered some country. Fantastic little adventure, Thanks to all who came along and Ash for accommodation arrangements.

Thanks Gary for leading up the group to Corryong and the daily rides you organised.

On second thoughts we should have done the Dam, had lunch at Omeo and done the reverse. Next time ?

It's a jungle out there….No Kangaroo’s. I saw plenty on the ride to Cabramurra.
