2024 Kilkunda Ride
Most rides start with a plan. We'll aim to have a coffee at Korumburra bakery.
That's a good plan, Looks like a ripper route Garry.
Great to take the mighty Breva out on the ride to Kilkunda. Big turn up on a cold day.
Some nice bikes as well.
Thanks Gazza for some great riding
¿We did some unintended roads. Drouin was definitely not part of the plan, nor the closed road. But at least the roads were dry.
Thanks Garry, some fantastic roads around Gippsland with magnificent views.
Fabulous day out in the hills, thanks for leading the way Garry
I actually thought you lengthened the ride so you could show us how well you flicked the Red Devil Griso through the tight corners.
It was some great roads.
Great to catch up with members that we have not seen for way too long.
Nod and I set off at 8:15 from Yarck (-2 degrees and heavy fog), hooked in behind Trevor at Alexranda.
Helmet visors continually icing up as we head for the black spur.
Nice lunch and a better trip home.
For those that were aware that I lost my wallet on the ride on Sunday, my distress has lasted just one day.
Local police knocked on my door at home this morning to advise my wallet was handed in to Warrigall police station. Now collected by me with all the contents in place.
Found on the road in Drouin by some good folks and handed in.
Big thanks to those people and VicPol. Nice to know there are still genuine nice people, particularly in our country towns ¿
Fantastic news Bruce, really great to hear. You must have some great karma. Now put it in your secure jacket ¿.
Stories like that reinforces my faith in human nature.
All the more reason for the club to support country towns on twisty roads by riding there.
Sorry we went a bit off track today. GPS must have been upset by the solar flares. Still had a good day out with the Griso. All is well that ends well¿
